    The character and location of the privately owned Golden Lion make it one of the top hotels in the Rugby area.

    In 1931 Herbert and Alice Austin started 77 years of the Austin family at the Golden Lion. Currently, the third generation, Jim and Claudia Austin have kept the village pub links to the past, established an award winning restaurant, and are now looking to the future with their 20 bedroom hotel and function suite. The perfect balance between ‘old and new’ creates the ideal choice for both business and pleasure.

    The 16th century building consists of an award winning  Restaurant and Traditional Bar serving real ales, fine wines and home made, locally sourced food. In contrast, the 3 AA Star, 21st Century Hotel offers a welcoming Reception, self contained Function Suite and 20 Executive Bedrooms with free internet connection.

    The  Golden Lion Hotel is easily accessible from all Midland motorway networks and is located between Rugby and Coventry in the picturesque village of Easenhall. (M6 Junction 1) Ample Free Parking.
